Hi !!!!!

Hey everybody,

Hopefully everyone is doing well. I'm just checking in to see where we are at. No chatter for a month. I know school started again for Suzanne and I sent two books to Diana that took forever because I wrote the address backwards . And Natalie was swamped at work. I'm just really excited to see more cool drawings. More drawings , yeah , more drawings :) talk to you soon.

  1. Joey, I have your book and it is up next in a seemly unending pile of fall commitments on my studio table. I am hoping to have something done, photographed, posted, and mailed to you by Monday!

  2. I'm still pretty busy at work, but we finally hired a new designer, so I've got some help now! Winter decided to come early to New Hampshire (over a foot of snow last week), so I am now in the process of moving my studio from my unheated barn to my slightly heated house. That will be done this week, so I'm hoping to be able to start working on my entry in Suzanne's book next week.

  3. Slightly heated? Ouch! Better than unheated but still. Stay warm.

Sorry I don't mean to pester anyone. Just looking at the blogs of all the other groups they just seem to fade away. I want to stay in contact with everyone and have this be a fun thing not a chore. No rush. Hopefully you get through another tough winter Natalie :( and Hopefully your school year isn't too hectic Suzanne. Talk to you soon.

  4. I don't think you are pestering anyone at all Joey. It's good to get an update on everyone's progress. And I appreciated the reminder :-). I think it's much better to know that people can't work on their entry for a while than not have any idea if they are even still in the group.

  5. Joey - Thanks for checking in, hopefully your fall has been good. (Natalie stay warm!) I have been in the deep end drowning (new school - again) and I finally feel like I can come up for air and make work. Excited to do your book!
I think groups end up fading because they don't communicate about problems or outside events impacting their work on the exchange and then they fell guilty so they ignore the group. I think it's better to stay in touch and be honest about delays.
So sorry about the delay, but an entry is coming soon!
